Trigon is creating shareholder value in Africa. Currently, the company has operations in Namibia and Morocco. In Namibia, Trigon holds an 80% interest in five mining permits in the Otavi Mountainlands, an area of Namibia widely recognized for its high-grade copper deposits, where the Company is focused on exploration and re-development of the previously producing Kombat Mine. In 2020, the company announced a resource expansion of the Kombat mineral resource from 7 million tonnes to 39.1 million tonnes and acquired the Copper King Extension, with over 30km area of strike length and exploration ground around the Kombat Mine, various known mineral occurrences on the property. Recently, in August 2021, Trigon Metals announced an updated NI 43-101 Mineral Resource estimate at the Kombat Mine in Namibia. The indicated tonnage has increased 66% from the previous Mineral Resource estimates, with copper tonnage up 113% and silver 2,253%, resulting in a much larger production profile.
